It is normal for there to be some form of apprehension when a new product is being launched Into the market. Understandably, potential customers will maintain the position they are in with the product they have already tried and which has proven to be satisfactory.

With regards to our range of pet foods, we are satisfied that our canine animal nutritionist, with a wealth of experience in the South African market, which is a well developed market, has all the required attributes to ensure that the products we bring to market are responsible and of excellent quality. We follow stringent recipes and ensure that the raw materials we source and use in our mixtures are of good quality. The pet food we manufacture is scientifically prepared and offers all the ingredients required for a complete and balanced diet for your pet.

After having commenced production of our dog food in Lahore, we have sent our product far and wide for testing by many and have already begun to build a regular customer base.With this comes confidence. Our products are made in Lahore in a clean and hygienic environment with good quality products. We have a young and eager work force who have taken their tasks with conscientiousness and understand the importance of our procedures. I am extremely proud to have been able to recruit a young team that will continue to produce a wide variety of quality products in the years to come.

Naturally, with the spiralling cost of imported brands, more and more pet parents will be looking for alternative options that are more cost effective. Local producers will enter the market rapidly in the near future. This is a given and is a logical step forward. What will determine the success or failure of a brand will be the quality of the products that are manufactured. Although for a short while local producers will be extremely happy with the protection by government in increasing duties, the real work will then begin: to make a product that is acceptable in every way. We believe that we have a responsibility to all of our stakeholders to ensure that we distribute stock that we are proud of and which meets every requirement.

Supporting local industry is something that Pakistanis are keen to do. But we have a responsibility to do the support justice by ensuring that what they receive is a product that they can be proud of.

Pakistan is a very productive and capable country. We will, over time, become exporters of our products because we believe that we have the ability to provide products that are comparable with any around the world. Not only will this save foreign currency for Pakistan but will reverse the flow of funds being spent on imports. That is something that we may all be proud of.
